Lastly, why is "Plan of Study" (tab) here?

When doing a global "Field Placement" search (where no values are entered), then Rachel Albert's placements are ordered oldest-first, while Elise Alexander's placements are ordered oldest-last. These should be consistent. Rebecca expressed a preference for oldest-last.

Currently when in Student view (via ChangeAccount) a student can search for a field placement (using the current "Agenices" search -- which we hope to have renamed, see prior bug report) using "Name, County, State, Country, Status and Regions. This should be changed to the following: Name, County, State, Country, (*not* Status -- as mentioned elsewhere, students should only see "Active" statused placements), Regions *and* in addition, Placement Type, Service Type and Population.

I will use PoS as an illustrative example, but the ‘issue’ also shows up across the system, in Field Education, Administration, etc.

Step 2: Just below on Left Navigation panel, you see “Search Plan of Studies”. Click on it and now you are at Step 3.
Step 3: URL: https://shibdev.renci.org/ssw/PlanOfStudies/List
These 2 screens are the same and I think the screen in Step 3 could replace the screen in Step 1 in all cases
– Depending on the Role, this screen will display:
o Student Role: preloaded with that student’s info
o Faculty, Task Supervisor, Field Instructor, Field Faculty Roles: preloaded only with the students that person is associated with
Another observation (I think this is fixed?):
In Field Education, Country Drop-down, County Drop-down, there are entries which are in the wrong Drop-down (ex. Oklahoma is not a County; Durham is not a Country).
Is there a way to select multiple Counties for a search? There are several entries denoting multiple counties but these are ‘fixed’ …. (not sure if this was / is a Requirement or for Release 2) …

Please show the Active Yes/No button and the current state for each entry.
If this function is used you would be able to see at a glance what messaging is being displayed without having to edit each entry.
Also a HTML 'Content' Description Field on the List Screen would be useful as well

IE - Drop down arrows initially appear truncated then align correctly after use
Safari - Same as Firefox
Chrome - No Issues
Firefox - Drop down arrows show up as a black down arrow and reappear in a bluish box with field is clicked

When adding / editing a Course entry, the Tabs are not in the same sequence as the POS Admin functions. Specifically, Course Area and Content Area Tabs are reversed when looking at the Nav Screen. Either the Nav Screen or the Tab sequence should be changed, to be consistant.

Observed that course 810 was listed in Concentration, yet I was still able to select it and place it in Electives.
Don't think this should be allowed .. if a course is already listed (in use?) and can still be selected and used in Electives.

When editing a "Unit" under "Field Education" (Home > Field Education > Units > edit), if one attempts to change the current "City" field and clicks on "Save," then a white screen appears and, when the page is revisited, the "City" field has not changed.
 
This appeared during testing with Oleg, Rebecca and Theresa (7/17/2013).  It can be recreated by:
  1. Click on "Field Education"
  2. Click on "Units"
  3. Click on "Search"
  4. On the first returned record ("123 Test Agency for Demonstration"), click on "Edit"
  5. In the "City" field (under "Street Address"), type over "Chapel Hill" with another NC city (e.g., "Wilmington" or "Hillsborough" or "Mebane").
  6. Click on "Save".
  7. White screen appears.

I was able to ultimately see them by shrinking the screen font repeated (hitting Ctrl-minus_key several times); but, regular users will not know to do this nor should it be expected that they would. There is no "logout" capability. When a report shows students' first and last names in separately sortable columns (which is desirable), then if a user sorts on the last name, the first name should be an implicit secondary sort parameter. (In other words, in terms of SQL, if a user clicks on the "Last Name" column header, the result SQL clause should be "ORDER BY Last_Name, First_Name", with the appropriate DESC, ASC.) Otherwise, as has happened, when a user sorts by last name, they might miss a student due to the natural, intuitive assumption that the first names are alphabetized secondarily. For instance, using the above URL (searching for students with the last name of "Brown"), one might assume that the student with the first name of "Alison" would come first, before "Amy" and "Anna" and "Ashley"; but, "Alison" in fact comes up ninth -- and thus would be missed by most users. This should be easy to implement and is extremely practical. Alternately, if one insists on making an interface that is generalizable and thus is resistent to implementing such a practical solution, then the generalizable solution is to allow users to specify multiple columns to be sorted in a specific order (as is done in MS Excel and MS Access). Either of these solutions would work fine.

On search pages (such as the one at the URL identified above), after a user enters in any pertinent information (such as PID, First Name, etc.), if they then hit their "Enter" key, then the entered information is ignored and a information-less search is done (i.e., returning all records). 
 
This has been identified as an "unexpected" result by all UNC testers.  It is expected that, on a search form, when "Enter" is clicked, then it would be treated the same as if the "Search" word were pressed.

When editing a Field Education Agency's "Contact" information, there columns are displayed in the following order:
